Story Type: No or inadequate grocery store
My Story:
Grandmother of three grandchildren and raising them with physical disability and no transportation to the store. No grocery store in the area and the closest stores have no fresh fruit and vegetables and the prices are high at the store we do have.
This Grocery Story was collected at the Edgehill Food Awareness Cookout on August 31, 2010. The event was hosted by Edgehill Food Now!, a collaboration between the Edgehill Family Resource Center, Organized Neighbors of Edgehill and Re/Storing Nashville.
